Job summary

Aikido is hiring a hands-on Field Marketing Manager to accelerate pipeline and awareness in developer and security communities across Chicago.

You will own regional events end to end, collaborate with Sales and Partnerships on ABM programs, and turn community engagement into real opportunities. The ideal candidate has 4–7 years in field, event, or community marketing for B2B SaaS, and thrives in a fast-paced startup with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or community marketing.
• Experience supporting B2B SaaS, developer tools, or cybersecurity products.
• Comfortable running events from concept to execution.
• Strong collaboration with sales teams and pipeline-driven marketing programs.
• Experience managing conferences, meetups, and regional marketing programs.

Responsibilities

• Own and run regional events, from meetups and dinners to major industry conferences.
• Turn events into qualified pipeline together with Sales.
• Build Aikido’s presence in developer, startup, and security communities.
• Partner with Sales and Partnerships on ABM, partner events, and target accounts.
• Own event execution end to end, including logistics, speakers, content, follow up, and performance.
• Bring Aikido’s no BS security voice into the field and turn great events into great brand moments.

This role is focused on driving pipeline and awareness through events, community engagement, and regional campaigns. You’ll work closely with sales, partnerships, and marketing to plan and execute programs that connect Aikido with developers, security leaders, and startup teams.
