Job summary

TokenBrickLabs, a Seattle-based blockchain studio, seeks a Developer Relations Engineer to bridge protocol APIs to external builders. You will own SDKs, samples, docs, and the technical conversations with funds, fintechs, and integrators.

The role can be full-time or part-time and demands production-quality code and clear technical guidance. You’ll ship TypeScript and Rust SDKs, write tutorials, support partners, and represent the company at events with working code.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a software engineer with DX/partner engineering.
• Strong TypeScript and REST/GraphQL; Solidity reading preferred.
• Proven ability to write clear technical docs.
• Experience shipping SDKs, CLIs, or sample apps that others use.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain TypeScript/Rust SDKs, samples, and reference integrations.
• Write and own technical documentation, tutorials, and protocol explainers.
• Support partner and integrator engineering: reproduce issues, file high-signal bugs, and land fixes.
• Represent TokenBrickLabs at technical events, workshops, and partner deep-dives with working code.
• Collect builder feedback and turn it into RFCs, DX tickets, and product changes.
• Keep public examples current with contract and API changes; avoid stale snippets.
• Contribute to internal DX: better errors, changelog discipline, and sandbox environments for partners.

TokenBrickLabs is a Seattle-based blockchain studio that designs, audits, and ships production Real-World Asset tokenization — issuance, identity, custody, and settlement rails for funds, fintechs, and operators. We hire globally and build for institutional security, compliance, and day-two operations, not slide-deck prototypes.

As a Developer Relations Engineer, you will own the path from protocol and APIs to external builders: SDKs, samples, docs, and the technical conversations with funds, fintechs, and integrators. You write production-quality code, not slide-deck demos — and you feed what you learn back into the product. The role is open as full-time or part-time.

The Team: Developer Experience

Developer Experience sits between Protocol Engineering and the partners who integrate TokenBrickLabs rails. We ship SDKs, reference apps, and documentation that survive legal review, and we treat community questions as product signal. DevRel here is an engineering job: you debug integrators’ stacks, reproduce issues, and land fixes or samples — not conference theater.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain TypeScript/Rust SDKs, samples, and reference integrations for issuance, identity, and settlement APIs.
• Write and own technical documentation, tutorials, and protocol explainers that engineers and counsel can both use.
• Support partner and integrator engineering: reproduce issues, file high-signal bugs, and land sample-level fixes.
• Represent TokenBrickLabs at technical events, workshops, and partner deep-dives — with working code, not a pitch deck.
• Collect builder feedback and turn it into RFCs, DX tickets, and product changes with Protocol and Platform Engineering.
• Keep public examples current with contract and API changes; refuse stale snippets.
• Contribute to internal DX: better errors, changelog discipline, and sandbox environments for partners.

What we’re looking for

• 4+ years as a software engineer, with at least some time in developer relations, DX, or partner engineering.
• Strong TypeScript and comfort with REST/GraphQL APIs; ability to read Solidity or similar on-chain surfaces.
• Proven ability to write clear technical docs and to teach complex systems without dumbing them down.
• Experience shipping SDKs, CLIs, or sample apps that other teams actually used.
• Excellent written and spoken English; comfortable with async, global, and public communication.

Nice to have

• Prior DevRel or solutions-engineering work in Web3, fintech, or API platforms.
• Familiarity with ERC-3643 / T-REX, wallets, or permissioned token flows.
• Public speaking, workshop facilitation, or a technical blog/open-source track record.
• Experience with Rust, Move, or multi-chain SDKs.
