Job summary

Wipro in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced Backend Java Engineer to develop and test software modules per client requirements, lead the backend team, and coordinate with cross-functional groups to ensure quality delivery.

You will design microservices with Spring Boot, implement REST APIs, optimize performance, and uphold banking security standards. 3–5 years of hands-on Java backend experience is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of backend Java development experience.
• Strong Spring Boot / Spring Cloud with microservices design.
• Experience designing/consuming REST APIs and microservices.
• Exposure to relational databases (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven).
• Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Banking security knowledge is a plus.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $45,000 to $121,000 .

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
