1Password is seeking a Developer Intern for Winter 2027 to contribute to the Machine Identity team. Work remotely within the United States January–April 2027, coding, testing, and delivering features for production software. You will participate in planning, write tests, and help raise code quality across the stack.

The role values curiosity, teamwork, and willingness to learn. Bonus points for Go, Node.js, Ruby or Python experience and knowledge of OAuth/OIDC and auth concepts.

Qualifications

• Experience with modern backend languages (Go, Node.js, Ruby, or Python).
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and identity concepts (OAuth, OIDC).
• Experience with distributed systems and observability practices.

We make that access scoped and auditable, so individuals and teams can move beyond shared, long-lived credentials and understand which identity acted and on whose behalf.This is a remote opportunity within Canada/US.
