1Password is seeking a Developer Intern for Winter 2027 to join the Browser Extension Excellence team. This remote internship in the United States offers hands-on experience building features in web and Rust stacks while collaborating across Product, Design, and Support.

You will help improve extension performance and reliability, work with browser APIs, and learn how to ship reliable software in a fast-paced, security-focused environment.

Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.Browser Extension Excellence owns the foundation that supports 1Password’s browser extension, our most-frequently used client surface. This includes architecture, health monitoring, build and test pipelines, developer tooling, cross-browser compatibility, and setting new standards within the WECG. We investigate production incidents, improve load and runtime performance, and guide the extension through changes such as Manifest V3 and browser version deprecations.This is a remote opportunity within Canada/US.
