Job summary

Aikido, a security startup in San Francisco, seeks a Developer Growth Marketing Manager to design and scale net-new pipeline channels beyond core paid media. You’ll run experiments across developers, communities, and creators to prove effective plays that drive qualified pipeline.

Responsibilities include building an affiliate program, partnerships with developer influencers, hosting events, and aligning with sales to translate activity into pipeline while tracking budgets and ROI.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in growth and developer marketing.
• Strong understanding of developer audiences and trust signals.
• Experience building and scaling net-new acquisition channels from scratch.
• Experience in cybersecurity, developer tools, or DevOps is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, test, and scale other new growth channels beyond core paid media.
• Build and grow an affiliate program to drive referral-based pipeline.
• Build partnerships with developer influencers and creators to expand reach and trust.
• Build relationships with security communities and developer ecosystems.
• Design and launch experiments to validate new channels with clear metrics.
• Support and help organize event-based activations (conferences, hackathons, sponsorships, pop-ups).
• Work with sales to ensure new-channel activity translates into qualified pipeline.
• Manage budgets and ROI tracking across experimental channels.
• Build repeatable playbooks for channels that prove successful.
