Job summary

Aikido is hiring a hands‑on Field Marketing Manager to drive regional events and developer community engagement in Austin, TX. You will own events end‑to‑end, from concept through follow‑up, and coordinate with sales, partnerships, and marketing to connect with developers, security leaders, and startup teams.

The role focuses on pipeline generation, regional campaigns, and a strong local presence in the Austin tech ecosystem.

Qualifications

4–7 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or community marketing.
Experience supporting B2B SaaS, developer tools, or cybersecurity products.
Comfortable running events from concept to execution.
Strong collaboration with sales teams and pipeline‑driven marketing programs.
Experience managing conferences, meetups, and regional marketing programs.
Organized, proactive, and comfortable in a fast‑paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

Own Regional Events & Programs: plan and run field marketing events, manage presence at conferences, coordinate logistics and content.
Drive Pipeline Through Events: work with sales to create events that generate qualified pipeline and support campaigns.
Build Community in the Developer Ecosystem: partner with developer communities and meetups; promote awareness.
Partner with Sales and Partnerships: identify target accounts and opportunities; support partner‑led events.
Help Grow Aikido’s Brand: turn events into content, social engagement, and brand moments.
