Job summary

Worky is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React.js, NestJS, TypeScript, Node.js, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will contribute across the full software lifecycle, from architecture to deployment, with Firebase NoSQL in backend.

You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver robust RESTful services, implement CI/CD, and ensure security and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React.js, NestJS, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and backend services.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.

• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and application security best practices.

Full Stack Engineer (React.js / NestJS / TypeScript / Node.js / GCP)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React.js, NestJS, TypeScript, Node.js, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), along with experience in application architecture, cloud-native development, and NoSQL databases such as Firebase.

This role requires a hands-on engineer who can contribute across the entire software development lifecycle, from solution design and architecture to implementation, deployment, and ongoing optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using React.js, NestJS, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Build responsive, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces and backend services.
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and server-side applications.
• Design and optimize data models using NoSQL databases, particularly Firebase Firestore.
• Develop and manage cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in system architecture discussions and provide technical leadership on solution design.

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 50,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 175,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
