Jobvite Middleware Test Company is seeking a Developer Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable software in an agile environment. You’ll own features from design through production and collaborate with product owners, QA, and SRE.

The role emphasizes developing backend and full-stack features, REST APIs, and resilient systems with an emphasis on CI/CD, code quality, and security practices. Hybrid/work-from-office options may apply in a dynamic California setting.

Competenze

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one stack: Ruby/Rails, Java/Spring, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and SQL optimization.
• Experience with Git, pull-request workflows, and CI/CD.
• Solid grasp of data structures, OOP, API design, and testing (unit, integration).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality backend and/or full-stack features.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and take part in code reviews.
• Build and consume REST APIs and integrations with third-party systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues. Contribute to monitoring, alerting, and root-cause analysis.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and developer tooling.
• Work with product owners to refine requirements and estimate work.
• Keep technical documentation up to date. Mentor junior engineers.
• Follow secure coding practices and help remediate vulnerabilities and dependency updates.
