Job summary

Orkes is seeking a Developer Community Engagement lead to grow our open-source ecosystem around Orkes and Conductor. This externally facing role blends community engagement, developer marketing, and technical content creation to help developers adopt the platform.

You’ll run webinars, write tutorials, speak at conferences, and build programs that encourage participation while feeding feedback to Product and Engineering. Location: SF Bay Area or Seattle, in-office or hybrid.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of developer engagement experience in a technical product.
• Proactive, self-directed and resilient in changing environments.
• Strong ability to explain complex concepts to developers.
• Experience creating technical educational content (presentations, blogs, videos).
• Open source community experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with agentic workflow orchestration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage with developers across online and in-person communities to drive awareness and usage.
• Answer technical questions, unblock users, and foster an inclusive, knowledgeable community.
• Educate developers on workflow orchestration, agentic workflows, and distributed systems.
• Create educational content such as blogs, tutorials, videos, walkthroughs, and learning materials.
• Own webinars, workshops, AMAs, demos, and community events end-to-end.
• Represent Orkes at conferences, meetups, podcasts, and online events.
• Bring developer feedback back to Product and Engineering to help improve Orkes.
• Build relationships to empower contributors, advocates, and power users.
