About This Role

Writer is seeking an experienced developer advocate focused on technical content to join our Developer Relations team. This role involves producing high-quality technical content to promote awareness and adoption of Writer's research, technology, and platform.

You will collaborate with product marketing, lifecycle marketing, developer experience, and AI and software engineering teams to develop diverse technical content for our blogs, newsletters, launch assets, and more. When applying, please submit relevant examples of your technical content, such as blog posts or videos.

Your Responsibilities

1. Deliver world-class technical content across various mediums.
2. Create educational content for the Writer platform and partner integrations.
3. Work with AI and engineering teams to develop stories about their work.
4. Partner with marketing teams to develop launch assets and announcements.
5. Contribute to developer newsletters and gated technical content.
6. Assist with documentation, SDKs, and event staffing as needed.
7. Manage projects proactively, meeting deadlines and contributing to strategy.
8. Report to the Director of Developer Relations.

Is this you?

• You are passionate about technical storytelling and understand the importance of balancing education with marketing.
• You understand different technical personas in AI, including researchers and developers.
• You have at least two years of experience in related roles, with a track record of impactful technical content creation.
• You have experience with AI/ML and proficiency in Python.
• You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You can adapt quickly and communicate complex ideas effectively.
• You are capable of working independently and collaboratively.
• You prioritize accessibility and engagement in your content.

Preferred Skills

• Formal education in machine learning or AI engineering is preferred.
• Experience creating technical content for an AI company.
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments.
• Familiarity with applications using LLMs.
