Job summary

Abnormal AI is seeking a hands-on engineer for the Development Infrastructure team to lead the design and delivery of complex, multi-component features and systems. You will build and maintain CI/CD infrastructure, refine build and deploy pipelines, and drive improvements in scalability and cost.

You will work with Python, cloud native environments, and Generative AI tools to shape solutions for production constraints, while owning on-call responsibilities and guiding teammates through the

Qualifications

• 3+ years building backend systems or platforms.
• 2+ years of Python experience.
• Experience delivering complex projects end-to-end in a cloud native environment.
• Experience building or operating CI/CD, build, or deployment systems in production, including on-call and incident response.
• Understanding of distributed systems, containerization and microservices.
• Practical experience using Generative AI tools in day-to-day engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of multi-component features and systems.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD infrastructure and tools for engineering.
• Design and implement enhancements to build/deploy pipelines for scalability and cost improvements.
• Leverage AI tools to explore solutions and adapt changes to production constraints.
