Jobgether is seeking a skilled backend developer in the United States with strong C#/.NET 8 expertise to design, build, and optimize server-side applications. You will work across ASP.NET Core Web API and MVC, ensuring robust data handling with SQL Server and secure, scalable cloud integrations.

You will implement and optimize Azure Functions, leverage Event Hubs, Key Vault, and Storage, and participate in CI/CD workflows within Azure.

Formación

• Strong backend experience with C# and .NET 8.
• Experience building APIs with ASP.NET Core Web API and MVC.
• Hands-on SQL Server data management.
• Experience with Azure Functions and other Azure services.
• CI/CD in Microsoft Azure environments.
• Proficient in English technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of architecture, integration patterns and secure design.

Accountabilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using C# and .NET 8, including ASP.NET Core Web API and MVC.
• Build and maintain integrations with SQL Server, ensuring data consistency, performance, reliability, and efficient query execution.
• Implement, maintain, and optimize Azure Functions to support serverless processing and application workflows.
• Work with Azure Event Hubs, Key Vault, and Azure Storage to support event-driven architectures, secure configuration management, and cloud-based data storage.
• Develop and maintain system integrations, ensuring effective communication between applications, services, and enterprise platforms.
• Apply Entity Framework to manage data access, persistence, and interactions with relational databases.
• Contribute to technical architecture discussions and help design scalable, maintainable, and secure software solutions.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines, automated build processes, and deployment activities within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, investigate defects, and implement solutions that improve application stability and performance.
• Follow software engineering best practices, coding standards, testing approaches, and established quality assurance procedures.
• Collaborate with client representatives, developers, and other team members to clarify requirements, discuss technical decisions, and communicate progress.
• Participate in Agile development activities and contribute to continuous improvement throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience in backend development using C# and the .NET ecosystem, particularly .NET 8.
• Practical experience developing APIs and web applications with ASP.NET Core Web API and MVC.
• Hands-on experience integrating applications with SQL Server, including regular database interactions and data management.
• Experience implementing and maintaining Azure Functions.
• Familiarity with Azure Event Hubs, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Storage.
• Experience participating in CI/CD pipelines and deploying applications to Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of software architecture principles, system integration patterns, and the design of maintainable applications.
• Practical experience with Entity Framework and relational database access.
• Ability to read and write technical documentation in English.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact regularly with clients and technical team members.
• A collaborative approach to problem-solving, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and work effectively with different stakeholders.
• Commitment to code quality, technical excellence, continuous learning, and the delivery of reliable software solutions.
