Job summary

Diamond Detox is hiring a Detox Technician to support the recovery journey of patients in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. You will work alongside nursing staff to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming facility and assist with basic patient care.

The role requires empathy, professionalism, and a willingness to complete required training and CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Able to pass a federal background check.
• Willingness to complete required training and certifications.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain one)

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients throughout the detoxification process to ensure safety and comfort.
• Assist nursing staff with patient care as directed.
• Coordinate patient needs with the shift team.
• Complete daily cleaning duties and task lists to keep the facility clean.
• Document patient notes during your shift.
• Use verbal de-escalation techniques when needed.
• Perform other duties as directed by nursing staff

About the Role

Diamond Detox helps people take the first step in overcoming addiction and chemical dependency. As a Detox Technician, you'll provide compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals beginning their recovery from substance use disorders — working alongside our nursing staff to keep the facility safe, supportive, clean, and welcoming.

We're looking for candidates who are passionate about helping others, bring empathy and professionalism to their work, and want to support patients through one of the most important steps in their recovery journey.

What You'll Do

• Monitor patients throughout the detoxification process to help ensure their safety and comfort
• Assist nursing staff with patient care as directed
• Coordinate patient needs with the rest of the shift team
• Complete daily cleaning duties and other assigned task lists to keep the facility clean and organized
• Document patient notes during your shift
• Use verbal de‑escalation techniques when needed
• Perform other duties as directed by nursing staff

What You'll Need

• Must be 18 or older (21+ preferred)
• Ability to pass a federal background check
• Willingness to complete required training and certifications
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain one)
