Job summary

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking a Shift Coordinator to lead a Detox team of clinicians in a 24/7, ASAM 3.2 level of care setting. You will supervise up to 6 staff, coordinate intakes, discharges, and transfers, and act as a liaison with hospitals and law enforcement.

The role requires strong clinical leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a busy onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS/CPR First Aid certification or obtain within 30 days.
• CAT or CAS credentials required or in progress depending on level.
• Two years related experience or training in behavioral health settings.
• On-site shift leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily work group and provide direction to staff.
• Assist with scheduling, intake procedures, and documentation.
• Serve as trainer for new staff and supervise up to 6 staff.
• Develop treatment and disposition plans with clinical manager.
