Job summary

Beachside Behavioral Health in the Irvine/Tustin area is urgently seeking a Behavioral Health Technician for our detox residential facility. This role supports clients through day/evening programming, requires addiction recovery knowledge, a clean driving record, and full COVID vaccination.

Responsibilities include admission procedures, daily progress documentation, room searches, detox protocol administration, and client transport.

Qualifications

RADT or SUDRC certification required.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a human services setting.
Valid Driver’s License and clean DMV record.
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
Current certification in First Aid/CPR.

Responsibilities

Conduct client rounds according to state protocols and document appropriately.
Complete new admission intake procedures per program policies for all admissions.
Document daily progress in client charts.
Conduct room searches as needed or requested by management.
Administer detox protocols (CIWA, COWS) and monitor vital signs.
Collect urine samples for testing.
Maintain cleanliness of property and assist with logistics.
Transport clients in company vehicles to appointments and activities.
Provide crisis intervention when needed.
Assist, teach, and supervise clients with chores, cleanliness, and meal prep.
