Job summary

Samba Recovery in Jonesboro, GA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our private, high-acuity detox and recovery facility. This part-time swing shift (3PM–11PM) offers the chance to provide individualized, evidence-based care in a discreet, therapeutic environment under RN supervision.

The ideal candidate will hold an active GA LPN license, CPR/BLS certification, and experience in detoxification or behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN license in Georgia.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
• Detoxification, behavioral health, or acute care experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain professional boundaries, discretion, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing medical detoxification.
• Monitor and document vital signs, withdrawal symptoms, and clinical status.
• Administer medications per physician orders and established protocols.
• Communicate effectively with the RN regarding patient progress and clinical concerns.
• Contribute to a calm, safe, and therapeutic milieu.
• Maintain thorough, compliant documentation in alignment with regulatory standards.
• Respond to clinical changes with sound judgment and professionalism.
