Job summary

Akima Infrastructure Services in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Team Lead Training Officer to supervise detention staff, deliver training programs, and ensure we meet contract requirements on-site. The TLTO must hold instructor certifications, be knowledgeable about ICE NDS (or ACA standards), and obtain firearms instruction authorization as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3–5 years in program management.
• Knowledge of ICE National Detention Standards (NDS).
• Certified firearms instructor and CPR/AED certification desired.
• Ability to obtain state security licenses as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train detention officers and ensure contract compliance.
• Ensure consistent service across shifts and locations.
• Brief officers on post orders and emergencies.
• Maintain training records and instructor certifications.
• Oversee detainee counts and security operations.
• Coordinate staffing and break schedules for posts.
• Proctor firearms training and range activities.
