Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.; some higher education preferred.
• At least two years of detention and/or equivalent education/training.
• Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be able to understand, read, write in English; Spanish preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older; valid NM Driver's License.
• Pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.
• CPR and First Aid required.
• Ability to handle stress and respond to emergencies; good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all subordinates during the shift and guide officers.
• Serve as role model and provide counseling or reprimands as needed.
