Qualifications

• Six months of security or law enforcement experience.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Certification as a Deputy Sheriff, Detention Officer.

Responsibilities

• Process inmates into the facility and perform intake procedures.
• Supervise inmate activity and enforce facility rules.
• Transport inmates to court, work details, and medical appointments.
• Conduct head counts and security checks; monitor alarms and doors.
• Assist with searching inmates and releasing/receiving detainees.
• Prepare forms, logs, and reports and maintain documentation.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to ensure operations.
