Qualifications

• HS Graduate or GED
• U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR)
• Must be able to obtain and keep a state security license (Noncommission/Commission)
• 4 years detention/security experience or military service
• Pass Government Clearance (T1/T2)
• Pass Drug screening
• Obtain ACA correctional officer certification within 1 year
• Meet minimum physical requirement for the position
• Valid Texas state security license 2 or 3

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per PBNDS/ACA and ICE policy standards.
• Follow company policies and directives.
• Respond to emergencies (fires, disturbances, riots).
• Prevent and detect contraband.
• Prevent and detect escape attempts.
