Qualifications

• Willingness to relocate within an hour response time to the Wake County Detention Center.
• Pass the Wake County Sheriff’s Office Physical Agility Test.
• Completion of background investigation and medical exam.

Responsibilities

• Transport, secure, and supervise prisoners in the Detention Center.
• Follow Sheriff’s Office policies and the Department of Justice standards.
• Perform work on 12-hour rotating shifts.
