Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or resident alien.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must reside within Coconino County upon appointment.
• Must be a high school graduate or possess a GED.
• Arizona driver’s license required upon appointment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and security of the Jail facility.
• Respond to emergencies and manage crisis situations.
• Supervise housing units and inmates, with records kept.
• Handle mail, visits, and daily detention operations.
• Operate under 12-hour shift schedules and safety protocols.
