The position requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Mental Health, or related field, plus NC licensure (LCSW or LC-MHC) and two years of supervised experience. Open until filled, with a pay range of $62,872 – $84,840.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Mental Health, or related fields.
• Two years of supervised experience in a mental health field.
• Must possess full Licensure in North Carolina as an LCSW or LC-MHC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial screening and assessment for identified mental health clients.
• Provide individual counseling sessions for clients in the jail mental health program.
• Assess suicide precautions and determine level of care and supervision.
• Coordinate with medical and detention personnel for continuity of care.
• Document in electronic medical records accurately and confidentially.
