ICE Health Service Corps (IHSC) Investigator in Washington, DC conducts administrative investigations at detention facilities, including health care complaints, morbidity/mortality incidents, and staff misconduct. Requires a clinical license, investigative skills, knowledge of ICE standards, and travel.

This position is only open to current USPHS officers. CAD candidates are not eligible for this position.

Qualificações

• Current unrestricted license to practice in a U.S. state or territory in one of the listed professional categories.
• Minimum five years of professional experience relevant to the officer's category.
• At least two years of supervisory or management experience in public health programs.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts administrative investigations, interviews, evidence collection, and writes reports for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
• Tracks time and costs for investigative activities.
• Assists in reviewing unit operations and recommends strategies to improve workload and efficiency.
• Collaborates with agency and contract detention facility leadership to plan on-site investigations.
• Ensure adherence to policies, standards, and integrity of investigative processes.
