Job summary

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) seeks an experienced supervisory officer for the Health Service Corps.

The Assistant Health Services Administrator will report to the HSA, aid in triad leadership, supervise staff, monitor contracts, and coordinate with ICE-ERO, Custody, and external agencies. The role emphasizes leadership, policy development, and ensuring high-quality care across detainee facilities, with travel up to 25% as directed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
Two years of management experience as a uniformed service officer or one year in health care administration as a uniformed service officer.
Obtain level II COR Certification within 12 months of hire.
Maintain ongoing professional development in clinical and administrative areas.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day healthcare services operations within the facility as RHA.
Mentor and train FHPM; resolve personnel issues within command structure.
Monitor contracts, invoices, and compliance with FAR and agency policies.
Develop and implement local policies aligned with accrediting bodies (ACA, NCCHC, PBNDS, FDS).
Ensure fiscal responsibility, budgeting, and procurement through P-Card and resource planning.
