Job summary

APIC Solutions Inc. is seeking a Detention Design Estimator and Project Manager to lead detention security projects from estimate through closeout.

This hybrid role is based out of our San Antonio office and is responsible for compiling security electronics and detention equipment estimates for design-build, hard-quote and negotiated bids, and for managing the procurement, submittals, budget and field installation of detention projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience in detention work.
• Experience in the detention sector.
• Construction management experience.
• Leadership experience.
• Strong technical skills in security electronics and detention equipment.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Compile security electronic and detention equipment estimates for design-build, hard-quote and negotiated bids.
• Manage detention project procurement and submittals.
• Oversee overall job and budget performance for detention projects.
• Direct field installation, including staffing field operations.
