Park Pharmacy in Detroit, MI seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide medical care at a Detention Center. The role offers full-time, part-time, and contingent positions with rotating midnight shifts, focusing on comprehensive assessments and on-site emergency care.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in Michigan.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience; correctional or emergency nursing preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsabilités

• Provide 24/7 nursing coverage on a rotating schedule.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments each shift.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Deliver on-site emergency care, including CPR and AED use.
• Assist with alcohol and drug detoxification protocols as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and mental health staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Follow clinical guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Adhere to security, safety, and confidentiality protocols.
