Zusammenfassung

Snohomish County is seeking a licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care to inmates in the County Jail. You will administer medications, assist with daily treatments, and respond to medical emergencies under physician or RN supervision.

This full-time role requires WA licensure (or compact), completion of the NAPNES medication course preferred, and availability to work weekends/holidays in a high-security environment. The County supports comprehensive benefits and equal opportunity.

Qualifikationen

• WA state or multi-state LPN license required or eligible.
• NAPNES medication course preferred.
• Must pass job related tests.

Aufgaben

• Administers and dispenses prescribed medications on all modules to all patients on assigned modules.
• Prepares treatment carts for daily treatments within scope of practice.
• Responds to medical emergencies and performs emergency treatment as needed.
• Records vital signs and assesses patient needs, referring to physician or RN as required.
• Charts health status, medication logs, and prepares required reports.
• Maintains inventory records of medications, supplies and equipment.
• Records medications as necessary.
• Assists with maintaining cleanliness of the work area.
