Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Private Detective/Investigator contractor for a remote, 4–6 week engagement. You must commit 20+ hours per week and start immediately. Compensation is hourly, with task-based payments on initial tasks before hourly continuation to complete the project.

In this role you will evaluate AI-generated investigation plans, perform background research, and provide expert feedback to improve model performance. Strong written English is essential for clear reporting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience as a Private Investigator or closely related role.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and compiling information on legal, financial, or personal matters.
• Ability to commit 20+ hours per week.
• Strong written English communication skills.

• 4+ years of experience as a Private Investigator, Private Detective, Licensed Investigator, Fraud Investigator, Insurance Investigator, or another closely related investigative role.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and compiling information on legal, financial, or personal matters, including background checks, surveillance, interviews, and records research.
• Ability to commit 20+ hours per week .
• Strong written English communication skills.

Start Date

• Immediate Compensation & Legal • Task-based payment upon first task approval. Experts who complete their first task within the required timeline will then be qualified to be paid hourly for the remainder of the project.
