Job summary

Mercor is seeking experienced Private Detectives and Investigators to evaluate and improve AI systems by reviewing investigative content and workflows using real-world expertise in gathering, analyzing, and reporting facts on legal, financial, and personal matters.

You will assess AI-generated investigation plans and surveillance reports for quality, compare responses for rigor and compliance, and provide feedback on evidence gathering and records research.

Qualifications

In this role, you'll evaluate AI-generated investigative content and workflows, leveraging your real-world expertise in gathering, analyzing, and reporting facts on legal, financial, and personal matters.

• Review investigative scenarios involving evidence gathering, source verification, records research, and case reporting and provide expert feedback.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Private Investigator, Private Detective, Licensed Investigator, Fraud Investigator, Insurance Investigator, or another closely related investigative role.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and compiling information on legal, financial, or personal matters, including background checks, surveillance, interviews, and records research, for clients, attorneys, or businesses.
• Ability to commit 20+ hours per week.
• Strong written English communication skills.

Additional Information

• Start date: Immediate
• Duration: Approximately 4–6 weeks
• Payment: task-based (payment upon first task approval). Experts who complete their first task within the required timeline will then be qualified to be paid hourly for the remainder of the project.
