Job summary

TikTok is seeking a skilled security operations professional in the San Jose area to join its IT security team. You will monitor alerts, write detections, and participate in incident response across enterprise IT, cloud, and endpoints.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in security operations, incident response, detection engineering, or threat hunting.
• Experience with SIEM and EDR tools; on-call shift involvement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts from SIEM, EDR, and network tools.
• Develop high-fidelity detections across endpoint, identity, cloud, and SaaS.
• Reduce alert fatigue with improved tagging and enrichment workflows.
• Conduct threat hunts using MITRE ATT&CK and threat intelligence.
• Design SOAR playbooks for triage and response.
• Support incident response and post-incident reviews with cross-functional teams.
