Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Threat Detection & Research, the Detection Engineer will serve as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity detections. The individual will participate in detection strategy, creation, tuning, validation, and correlation to ensure that Deepwatch customers have effective detections in place against an ever‑changing threat landscape. Detection Engineers increase alert fidelity, reduce false positives, and better inform MDR Security Analysts, directly impacting customer security posture over time.
The anticipated salary range for this role is $94,500 - $118,700 plus stock options and benefits. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, experience, education, and skill level.
