Job summary

GEO Corrections & Detentions in West Valley City is hiring a Senior Transportation Officer for high-risk governmental transportation. In this role, you will securely transport detainees and ensure vehicles are safe and maintained.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• 6 months of experience in law enforcement or similar.
• 1 year of driving experience in transportation.

Responsibilities

• Securely transport detainees to various destinations.
• Review and maintain all vehicle inspection reports.
• Ensure all necessary permits and licenses for vehicles are in order.
• Track DOT HOS on Electronic Logging Devices.

Skills

Leadership experience

CDL Class B with "P" passenger endorsement

Experience in law enforcement

Transportation safety knowledge

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
