Job summary

QXO, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer – Detailer to produce submittal packages for commercial door, frame, and hardware projects.

This role reviews contract documents, prepares opening schedules, coordinates product selections, and ensures documentation complies with codes and standards. You will work closely with Project Managers, Purchasing, Estimating, Vendors, Production, and Customers to release accurate, on-schedule projects.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum three years detailing or submittal experience in doors, frames, and hardware.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and door schedules.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate submittal packages for doors, frames, and hardware.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project scope; coordinate product selections.
• Prepare opening schedules, hardware sets, and data sheets; coordinate revisions.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Purchasing, Estimating, Vendors, Production, and Customers to ensure on-time release of submittals and documentation.
