Job summary

Brinson Auto Group in Athens, TX is seeking a self-driven Detailer/Porter to support our sales and service teams. You will clean and prepare both new and used vehicles, move vehicles as needed, and deliver them to customers with a positive, professional demeanor.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and a valid driver's license. We offer competitive pay, benefits and opportunities for advancement in a growing dealership group.

Qualifications

Job Summary

A Porter assists the Sales and Service department in moving and cleaning vehicles as well as delivering them to customers.

Specific Job-Related Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains new and used vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary.
• Places stock tags in vehicles.
• Keeps new and used vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving vehicles as directed by management and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Inspects parts, equipment, or vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards or regulations.
• Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Maintains value, quality, and integrity
• Drive company vehicle to deliver and pick up customer vehicles

General Company Related Duties And Responsibilities

• Report to work within acceptable time frames and company standards.
• Maintain appropriate degree of professionalism towards customers and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must be able to lift items up to 50- 75 lbs.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and computers.
• Ability to understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Current, valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
