Job summary

Walt Massey in Mississippi is seeking detail technicians to clean, wax and detail vehicles and to ensure the highest quality service for customers. You will inspect finished work, meet customer requirements, and coordinate with teammates to keep the lot organized and well-maintained.

The role emphasizes leadership, reliability and strong communication as you manage inventory and support ongoing training to deliver an exceptional automotive experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Clean, wax, polish, refurbish and detail vehicles.
• Inspect finished products to ensure high quality service.
• Understand and deliver on customer requirements.
• Maintain proper function of all service tools and equipment.
• Directly report any damage to the supervising manager in a clear and timely fashion.
• Coordinate and arrange work effectively with team members.
• Maintain excellent standards and quality of service to positively represent the organization.
• Manage employee quality and efficiency.
• Maintain organization and appearance of vehicle inventory on lot.
• Maintain and tracked vehicle inventory.
• Reparks cars, following sales, to maximize use of space and maintain lot in order.
• Services cars in storage to protect tires, battery, and finish against deterioration.
• Other duties as assigned
