Job summary

Grand Junction Subaru is hiring an Automotive Car Wash/Detailer to clean and refurbish new and used vehicles. The role is full-time with Saturday availability and includes comprehensive benefits and training opportunities.

You will wash exteriors, apply wax, vacuum interiors, clean upholstery, and apply conditioner, all while following safety policies and contributing to a high-quality guest experience.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Wash vehicle exterior with cleaning solution, water, cloths and brushes.
• Apply wax to the auto body and buff to preserve shine.
• Vacuum interior and remove dirt and debris.
• Clean upholstery, carpets and surfaces with appropriate cleaners.
• Apply vinyl/leather conditioning and spot- and stain-resistant chemicals.
• Follow all safety policies and report any accidents.

Job Description

Automotive Car Wash/Detailer clean and refurbish new and used automobiles.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Wash vehicle exterior, using cleaning solution, water, cloths, and brushes.
• Apply wax to auto body, and wipe or buff surface to protect surface and preserve shine, using cloth or buffing machine
• Vacuum interior or vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris, using vacuum cleaner.
• Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
• Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot- and stain- resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components.
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.

Qualifications

Required:

• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.

Additional Information

(The Car Wash/Detailer Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $17.00.)
