Job summary

MPM Industries, Glen Carbon, IL, is seeking a Project Detailer to turn construction documents into accurate door, frame, and hardware schedules. This technical role emphasizes coordination with estimators and project managers to support submittals, purchasing, fabrication, and delivery.

You will review drawings, develop coordinated schedules, verify opening sizes and hardware compatibility, and prepare detailed ordering data.

Qualifications

• Experience detailing commercial doors, frames, and hardware or related schedules.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and specs and translate into accurate documents.
• Strong attention to measurements, selections, revisions, and consistency.
• Organize work, meet deadlines, and use MS 365, PDF tools, and industry software.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, door schedules, specifications, and approved changes.
• Develop coordinated door and frame schedules, hardware sets, shop drawings, and data submittals.
• Verify opening sizes, handing, materials, finishes, hardware compatibility, and prep requirements.
• Identify conflicts or missing information and prepare questions for the PM.
• Revise documents after review comments and maintain records of approved requirements.
• Prepare detailed ordering and fabrication information; help verify supplier acknowledgments.
• Coordinate technical information with vendors and the MPM team; resolve discrepancies.
