Qualifications

• 5+ years detailing commercial doors, frames, and hardware.
• Knowledge of Division 8 products and industry standards.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and door schedules.
• Familiarity with building codes, fire-rated openings, ADA, and life-safety.
• Experience with detailing software and scheduling programs.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications, door schedules, and contract documents.
• Prepare detailed door, frame, and hardware submittals for commercial projects.
• Create hardware schedules and coordinate material requirements with manufacturers.
• Ensure compliance with fire ratings, ADA requirements, and life-safety codes.
• Identify and resolve conflicts before project execution.
• Collaborate with sales, project managers, contractors, architects, and distributors.
• Process revisions, RFIs, and change orders as required.
• Support successful project delivery through accurate detailing and documentation.
