Job summary

A leading structural steel fabricator in Madison, WI, is seeking a Detailer/Designer eager to contribute to quality craftsmanship. You will produce fabrication drawings and support new product design in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should possess an associate degree in a related field and proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with SDS2 and 3D modeling is preferred. Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate fabrication, installation, and customer-approval drawings.
• Create conceptual designs, submittals, and final project drawings.
• Apply customer feedback and redlines to revise drawings with accuracy.
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining our high quality and deadline standards.
• Work closely with supervisors to support a high volume of new product design in a fast-paced environment.
• Learn and apply Endres’ established detailing standards and best practices that have been refined over the years.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Drafting, Engineering, Construction, or related field preferred.
• 1+ year of detailing experience preferred, with a willingness to continue developing technical skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; SDS2 experience, 3D modeling, or architectural drafting are strong pluses.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, prints, and technical instructions.
• Steel industry experience preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and a desire to learn from an experienced, industry-leading team.

Standard Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
