Job summary

Van-Wall-Equipment, Inc. is seeking an entry-level detailing and equipment prep helper. The role involves washing, cleaning, detailing all types of equipment, and preparing units for delivery or demonstrations.

You will also assist with moving equipment to customer locations and maintain a safe, orderly work area. The position requires the ability to operate heavy equipment, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Operate vehicles and equipment used in pre-delivery processes.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean and detail equipment in wash bay area.
• Drive large farm equipment to and from customer’s property or dealership lots.
• Drive company vehicle and trailer with loaded equipment to and from customer’s property.
• Operates and maintains vehicles, tools, and equipment required in the detailing process.
• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with job assignments.
• Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties.

Job Summary

Wash, clean and detail all types of equipment offered for sale by the dealership plus customer-owned equipment. Prepares equipment for delivery to the customer or for demonstration purposes. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager, Service Location Manager, Shop Foreman or Senior Technicians.

• Operates and maintains vehicles, tools, and equipment required in the detailing process

• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with job assignments
• Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties

Position Qualifications

• Ability to operate vehicles, tools, and equipment used in machinery pre-delivery processes
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
• Valid driver’s license required with a good driving record
• Forklift license preferred
