Job summary

AHW LLC in Monticello, IL is seeking a maintenance/detailing associate to keep the wash bay area clean, detail vehicles, and ensure safe operation of dealership equipment. The role involves stocking supplies and assisting service staff as needed.

Regular duties include light grounds maintenance, forklift operation, and participation in safety programs. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Detailing skills including buffing and minor painting.
• Basic knowledge of equipment safety procedures.
• Ability to use basic computer functions and operate vehicles/equipment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

• May operate a forklift to transport parts, equipment and supplies for the dealership
• May assist the Service Technicians as requested by the Service Manager
• May perform rental/demo return inspections as requested
• Maintains a safe working environment and adheres to company safety program at all times
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Maintains the wash bay area
• Washs, waxes, buffs and handles final detailing of all new and used equipment
• Maintains adequate supplies needed to perform this job
• Reports any service-related problems to Service Manager upon final cleanup of equipment
• May perform grounds maintenance for the dealer properties, mowing, spraying, general upkeep

Requirements

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

Pay Range:

$15.00 - $23.00 per hour
