Casey Volkswagen in Newport News, VA is hiring a detailer to keep our showroom and lots looking pristine. You will recondition vehicles, inspect quality, and maintain inventory with care in a fast-paced environment.

We offer full-time hours, a Monday–Saturday schedule (7:30 am–5:30 pm), competitive pay between $40,000 and $60,000 per year, and a comprehensive benefits package. Previous detailing experience is preferred, but a strong work ethic matters most.

What You Will Do:

• Vehicle Reconditioning: Clean, wash, and refurbish new and used automobiles efficiently, adhering to dealership and manufacturer specifications.
• Quality Inspection: Check vehicles for noticeable defects such as dents, scratches, or torn upholstery, and report issues to your supervisor.
• Detailing & Finishing: Fuel vehicles, apply professional dressings to tires and tire wells, replace missing small parts, and ensure proper window stickers are displayed.
• Inventory Organization: Safely park and organize finished vehicles in designated new or used inventory spots.
• Safety First: Keep your work area neat and clean, utilize proper protective gear, operate tools and vehicles safely, and report safety concerns immediately.

What We Are Looking For:

• A strong eye for detail and a solid work ethic.
• The ability to work efficiently and meet time allowances.
• A commitment to following safety policies and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, Monday-Saturday, between the hours of 7:30 am- 5:30 pm.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous automotive detailing experience is preferred.
