Job summary

Casey Volkswagen is seeking a dependable Automotive Detailer to join Casey Auto Group in Newport News, VA. You will clean, wash, and refurbish vehicles to showroom condition, inspect for defects, and ensure accurate window stickers and tire finishes.

You should have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to work Monday–Saturday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. Valid driver2s license required; automotive detailing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do:

• Vehicle Reconditioning: Clean, wash, and refurbish new and used automobiles efficiently, adhering to dealership and manufacturer specifications.
• Quality Inspection: Check vehicles for noticeable defects such as dents, scratches, or torn upholstery, and report issues to your supervisor.
• Detailing & Finishing: Fuel vehicles, apply professional dressings to tires and tire wells, replace missing small parts, and ensure proper window stickers are displayed.
• Inventory Organization: Safely park and organize finished vehicles in designated new or used inventory spots.
• Safety First: Keep your work area neat and clean, utilize proper protective gear, operate tools and vehicles safely, and report safety concerns immediately.

What We Are Looking For:

• A strong eye for detail and a solid work ethic.
• The ability to work efficiently and meet time allowances.
• A commitment to following safety policies and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, Monday-Saturday, between the hours of 7:30 am- 5:30 pm.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous automotive detailing experience is preferred.

Pay range:

$40,000-$60,000 per year. Full-time hours and weekly paychecks.
