Don's Ford of Utica, part of Lithia Motors, seeks a Detailer to maintain the appearance and protection of customer vehicles. This on-site, full-time role includes Saturdays and reports to the Service Manager.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all customers.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel cover, and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.
• Clean exterior and interior of the vehicle; clean engine and engine compartments.
• Inspect vehicles for defects and restore appearance of engine, rugs, upholstery and painted surfaces.
• Prepare and apply vehicle protection packages; follow safety measures.
• Restore vehicles to a like-new condition to the best of your ability.
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot and verify repairs before delivery.
• Report issues to supervisor and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Maintain parking lot and report safety concerns to management.

Assist all customers promptly.Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel cover, and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.Responsible for cleaning of the exterior and interior of the vehicle.Clean engine and engine compartmentsInspect vehicles for noticeable defects and restoring the appearance of engine are, rugs, upholstery and painted surfaces.Responsible for preparation and applications of vehicle protection packages.Must complete all work assignments according to applicable safety measures.Restore appearance of vehicles to new or like-new condition to the best of your ability.Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when they pay their bill.Review repairs before delivering vehicle to customer to ensure quality of work. Bring any issues with the work performed to the attention of your supervisor.Maintain the parking lot.
