Job summary

Stiles, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is seeking a Detailer for our on-site facility in Ceres, CA. You will turn customer orders and plans into precise manufacturing drawings and support project teams across CS, Manufacturing and PM.

You will interpret blueprints, verify compatibility with standards, and help resolve issues while collaborating with internal teams and customers to deliver solutions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must complete a mechanical aptitude test (provided by HR).
• Familiarity with Visual CADD and/or AutoCAD programs.
• Strong math skills, including algebra, geometry, fractions, and metric conversion.
• Experience interpreting architectural blueprints and specifications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately, including specialty orders.
• Create precise manufacturing drawings based on orders, emails, architect plans, and specifications.
• Review shop drawings for accuracy, manufacturability and compliance with specifications.
• Identify and resolve potential manufacturing or installation issues.
• Customize existing product designs to meet customer needs while following industry standards.
• Develop layouts, details and required materials for manufacturing and installation.
• Determine custom product components required for manufacturing drawings.
• Provide technical support to internal teams and customers.
• Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns.
• Collaborate with customers to understand needs and recommend solutions.
• Use document and data management systems efficiently.
• Support other departments with drawing updates and modifications.
• Assist with training and guidance to stakeholders.
