Job summary

Baxter Auto Group in Madison, WI is seeking a Detail/Tint Technician to maintain and improve vehicle appearance. You will wash exterior, clean interior, inspect for defects, and apply cleaners, using experience and manufacturer guidance.

Responsibilities

• Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows, and wipes down doorjambs.
• Inspects vehicles for dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and mechanical issues.
• Applies special-purpose cleaners per manufacturers' recommendations.
• Cleans engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and cleaners.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Your Purpose as a Detail/ Tint Technician:

• Washes vehicle exterior, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipe down doorjambs.
• Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation.
• Applies special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer's recommendations.
• Cleans engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle
