Job summary

Cox Automotive in Mount Juliet, TN seeks a Detail Technician II for on-site work within the Vehicle Operations team. The role involves inspecting, detailing, and ensuring repairs meet quality standards, with a focus on safety and efficiency in the detailing shop.

Eligible candidates will have a High School Diploma/GED and 3–5 years of related experience, and must possess a valid driver’s license. Pre-employment drug testing applies; federal/state safety standards are observed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field, OR 5 years’ experience in a related field.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
• Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to ensure repairs are completed satisfactorily.
• Coordinate workflow to ensure all vehicles are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with Manheim quality standards.
• Monitor SOPs and ensure PPE, safety equipment, and training are followed.
• Assist the Supervisor in maintaining a safe work environment and drive vehicles for staging areas/sales days.
