Job summary

Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is seeking a Detail Technician I to prepare vehicles for sale by cleaning, detailing and inspecting them to meet auction-ready standards.

You will transform vehicles from arrival to auction ready, cleaning interiors and exteriors, and assisting with staging vehicles in the auction area. A valid driver’s license is required and prior automotive or related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to perform vehicle detailing and cleaning to auction-ready standards.
• Attention to detail and teamwork.
• Comfort with standing and lifting up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean, detail and restore vehicle interiors and exteriors using professional tools and cleaning products.
• Perform deep-cleaning tasks including washing, vacuuming, shampooing, polishing and detailing all vehicle areas.
• Prepare vehicles for sale by organizing materials and conducting final quality inspections.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Assist with moving and staging vehicles within the auction area.
